Recent medical complications have derailed the Teams original plan to compete for both American and Canadian Tour championships. Round #4 of the American Canadian Tour rolled in the Champlain Valley of upstate New York and the Airborne Speedway. Wayne Helliwell Jr. looked to continue his winning ways at the Plattsburgh, NY track that earned him the 2012 ACT Championship. Wayne Helliwell Jr. and the Bernhardt Motorsports Team continued their rebound from a bad opening day to claimed one the closest victories in American Canadian Tour history. Helliwell picked up his second consecutive Spring Green 113 at Devils Bowl Speedway by a margin of less than two-feet. The start of the 2013 American Canadian Tour season did not go well for the reigning series champion Wayne Helliwell Jr. and the Bruce Bernhardt owned EKeys-4-Cars, Unique Ford Fusion Team.
